Multiculturalism and Australia

I just watched former Australian PM Tony Abbott through the Rubin Report (*Is Australia About to Repeat the Biggest Mistake of Europe? | Tony Abbott, 6-30-2025). (BTW, The Rubin Report is a high-quality podcast. It is right-leaning but credible, unlike mainstream media CNN, PBS, CBS, etc.) The interview is concise (13min), easy to understand, and educational. Abbott explained the challenges and problems of Australian politics and multicultural societies. The discussions are centered in Australia, but they are common to all liberal democracies. Similarities and differences between Australia, England, Europe, and the US are briefly touched on. It is highly recommended.
To understand multiculturalism, I recommend an excellent book, Liberalism by John Charvet [1]. The word liberal means different things to different authors. The liberalism of this book is close to the original liberal definition. One may consult some ideology textbooks (e.g. [2,3]) before reading this book. Although the beginning of this book mentions no prior background knowledge is required, you need at least some knowledge of [2,3] to have a deep understanding of [1].
A related book is by Samuel Huntington on immigration [4]. My comments on Huntington’s book were in [5].
