In this writeup, I first explain the effort to cut the US government cost by DOGE is quite important. I first quote from [1]

Many economists try to determine the effects of the debt and deficits on the economy. Mohamed El-Erian gave perhaps the best presentation. There are several scenarios. The best one is to keep the economy growing so that debt as the percentage of the GDP is reduced. Assuming the promise of AI delivers is true, this scenario may work.

This should be easy to understand. Let us say that your family has income, a credit card, and accumulated debt. Your bank keeps lending to you until it determines that you are not credit worthy. You cannot borrow more money to party until you are broke. The US government is similar. You can borrow money today does not mean that you can do so in the future. The US government debt is so huge that it can go bankrupt in the not too distant future [2]. The cure is to grow GDP at the same time to cut costs. This is where the DOGE comes in.

The first government agency DOGE to inspect is USAID. Florida governor DeSantis once was a Congress member. He was asked about USAID [3]. He also praised DOGE [3]. Why was USAID not accountable in the past? I think another video offers a clue. It indicates that USAID is a CIA Front [4]. That could explain the secrecy of USAID and a few strange items. However, it still should not fund sex change in foreign nations. This claim should be independently verified or refuted. Another video claims that it funded bioweapon research in Wuhan [5]. This also should be independently verified. It is possible but not certain.

Some argue that Elon Musk and DOGE actions are illegal, even unconstitutional. [6-9] are good references. Victor Hanson was easy to understand. Alan Dershowitz is authoritative. [9] is more detailed.
