This writeup continues to give references on J.D. Vance’s Munich Speech (you can find links to his speech and some responses in [1]). The speech had several key points. One is free speech. I have written two write-ups concerning his speech on Intl Relations and the Ukraine War [2,3]. This one is a short note on free speech, mainly references and links.

I think the best textbook on free speech is Liberalism by John Charvet [4]. Professor Jonathan Turley of George Washington Univ. has recently published a book on free speech which I plan to read sometime in the future. I learnt his new book from [5], which was excellent.

More comments on Vance’s speech are in [6-11].
